An officially licensed tribute to Ayrton Senna da Silva of Sao Paolo Brazil. The best to ever do it, as well as the winningest F1 car of all time, the 1988 McLaren MP4/4.
In collaboration with the Senna family, the Senna Brand and legendary steering wheel manufacturer Nardi-Personal S.p.A., we set out to re-create the most iconic steering wheel that graced the most successful F1 car in history.
Made in Tradate, Italy, at the original Nardi factory, re-created to drawings from 1988, this 290mm wheel is in exact specification as was used by the race team. Including 'Boost' and 'Radio' buttons, master connector and cable, de-bossed Personal branding and of course the finest Italian suede and stitchless, bonded assembly.
Limited to 300, this wheel is presented in a custom box, that includes a unique and pre-threaded wall-mount hook which accepts the wheel bolts for easy mounting and display.
To finish it off we had the blessing of legendary photographer Keith Sutton and LAT Images to use one of the most iconic images taken of Ayrton, after winning the Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps GP.
Each wheel and box are engraved and labeled with a tamper-proof serial number #/300 as well as a certificate of authenticity supplied by Nardi-Personal S.p.A.
Based on request, we will make every effort to send you the wheel in your favorite and specified number. Please supply two to three numbers from which we can select. If your number has been reserved or taken, we will revert to our standard selection process in chronological order. You can add this info in your notes at check-out.
