The 2-layer MIPS system reduces rotational forces during impacts to lower concussion risk, while the revised EPS foam absorbs shocks from gate hits and crashes. Its injection-molded ABS race shell features variable elasticity, enhancing protection without adding weight or bulk.
Updated ear vents, snap-in lining, and emergency removable ear pads ensure comfort and practicality. A micro-adjustable buckle provides a secure race-specific fit. Designed for athletes who push their limits, this helmet delivers the ultimate blend of safety, comfort, and performance.

2-layer Mips® Safety System
Sweet Protects employs a specifically developed low-friction Mips system as a layer within the Volata 2Vi® Mips Race Helmet to reduce harmful forces that might otherwise be transferred to the head during an impact or crash. So, a tumble isn’t going to stop you.
ABS Race Shell
Injection-molded ABS Thermoplastic Race Shell is very impact resistant through its unique rubber toughened construction. The shell is molded with extreme precision to offer the best performance to weight ratio.
Impact & Gate Shields
Gates give your head a battering. That’s why Sweet Protection crafted specific shield areas, constructed from in-mold EPP and EPS, into the helmet to stand up to gate impacts and distribute them over a larger surface area. And of course, if you lose that line, these shields are there to protect you from hitting the terrain at unforgiving speed.
Toolless Chin Guard Mount
The Volata 2Vi® Mips Race Helmet is equipped to accommodate a tool-less mountable chin guard for added protection from those gates.
TPU Edge with Snap-in Lining
The inner parts of a helmet protect your head of course, but no-one wants their race focus disrupted by discomfort. So, Sweet Protection engineered the Volata 2Vi® Mips Race Helmet’s TPU liner to not only mitigate energy in a crash, but also be snap-in.
