For those riders who want to wear a sports leather jacket, Tech-Air® 5 may also be worn with Tech-Air® compatible leather jackets which have built in leather expansion panels to accommodate the inflation of the airbag
• Riders who wish to wear a leather jacket that is not Tech-Air® compatible must be sure that the leather jacket has an additional 4 cm of space around the circumference of the entire chest

UPDATES

• A new software update for the Tech-Air 5® is available in the Alpinestars Tech-Air® App! With this software update, the RACE RIDING MODE has now been introduced
• The Tech-Air® 5 is delivered in STREET RIDING MODE as standard
• The Tech-Air® App must be updated to the latest version (this is normally done automatically, unless automatic app updates are deactivated)
• To manually update, open the App and select Settings and Software; as soon as the Tech-Air® 5 vest is switched on and the system is paired with the App, the system software can be updated in the App via this point
• After the update, as a rider you will see the new Riding Modes option in the App Settings and can switch between STREET and RACE mode
• Please note that the "RACE RIDING Mode" may ONLY be used for riding on closed racetracks and cannot be used for other types of riding!

SIZE GUIDE

Chest: Measure around the fullest part, under the armpits, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist: Measure around the natural waist line, inline with the navel, keeping the tape horizontal.

Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 20cm below waist line, keeping the tape horizontal.

Outer Arm: Measure from shoulder (Humerus) to wrist.

Height: Stand against a wall, ask someone else to measure from the floor to the top of your head, keeping the tape vertical.
